I recently visited this restaurant for a quick pre-theatre lunch. The restaurant was bustling but not overly crowded, and we were seated promptly. The option to order at the counter or through the app made it convenient during peak hours. Drove all the way to Bath to go to Gourmet Burger Kitchen and go to the Bath Xmas market. We were very disappointed and wished we had read the reviews before coming. After waiting a while to be served we realised that we needed to go and order our food at the bar whilst the waiters stood around looking into space and wiping the odd empty table. Excellent place to go for delicious and well cooked burgers, Lovely atmosphere and great customer service. Highly recommend
My boys (6 and 7) and I decided to have lunch here for a special day out as the 3 of us, as we have not been able to have this time together due to me being seriously ill. We went into the restaurant, waited at the station for a member of staff to seat us with no success, so we sat at a near table (I cannot walk/stand for long). We then waited at least half an hour to 3/4 of an hour with no ignolagment so I struggled walking up to the bar with my boys. I explained we were unsure about waiting/sitting, with no ignolagment either time, and explained that I have a neurological condition and cannot stand/walk for long. The member of staff said she would personally serve us at the table, after a while another member of staff (who originally ignored us) came to take our order. We waited again for our food and drinks which were good, but by this point my boys were tired, past hungry, upset and fed up. We are what we could and left feeling very disappointed, upset and myself feeling slightly discriminated. We will not be going there again due to this reason, which is a shame as I have heard such great things about the gourmet burger kitchen restaurants.
Excellent service and all the flavours are still there . However the bun and meat portion were smaller and a sauce is extra . Haven`t been there for some time but I don`t forget food I enjoy.
We turned up on a Friday evening with no table booking and got great service. The team they quickly accommodated us, moving some tables to make access easier for me as I use a wheelchair. Burgers, chips and beers were excellent.
Great food and great service, had a really range for our vegetarian daughter too. Happy friendly staff and clean and tidy every time we visit
