We had scallops, followed by lamb that was so tender we could have used plastic knives to cut. Could not manage a desert but had floater coffees. Wonderful night out. Thank you Frank.

Thi... read more The food at this restaurant was excellent. I ordered the lamb and my girlfriend had the pork, both dishes were delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection. This cozy spot in Cheddar is quiet and the waitress was very friendly and gave us some recommendations for things to do in Cheddar during our visit.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was delicious. We started with the Salmon crab tian and had the Sole for our main course. Both dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. We will definitely return the next time we are in Cheddar.

She hates to make a fuss on th... read more Sandra, my wife has to be very careful what she eats owing to damage caused to her stomach through food poisoning many years ago. She hates to make a fuss on the day so we contact/visit places a few days before to make sure they can cater for her needs. To be fair, we only contacted Frank the day before however he could not have been more understanding and caring, going out of his way to make sure that Sandra enjoyed the same quality, variety and quantity of food that the rest of us were served. His approach made all the difference to our evening with friends as it meant that she felt no different to the rest of us rather than an inconvenience as she has sometimes been made to feel in other restaurants. All of the dishes served were outstanding in both presentation and taste. Thank you Frank and Sue we'll be back again for sure! Jules and Sandra xx

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, cooked perfectly and served piping hot. It was also reasonably priced. The service was exceptional, the staff were friendly, and the timing between courses was just right. I couldn't find a single fault with my experience.
