This afternoon, I went out in search of beautiful spots in Bridgwater to take photos. Unfortunately, the lighting wasn't ideal, so I decided to visit the new Elysian Cafe on New Road in Bridgwater, located between the bus station and St. John's Street. What Swophster doesn't like about Elysian:
We had a little issue in that we ordered via just eat for delivery, but then it was cancelled as they couldn’t deliver. My partner went to collect it, which took 50 minutes. However all was forgiven as the food was soo yummy. Really friendly service too. Massive portions, really well packaged and presented. All the food was really fresh and tasty. Will definitely pop in for some food sometime. View all feedback.

Sadly unable to comment on food as never arrived. Poor service from restaurant says they deliver but after 20 mins of wife choosing and order over £35 phone call to say they don’t deliver. Save your time on just eat app unless collecting. Sadly unable to try the food as good reviews on the taste etc... Just a tip don’t offer the delivery if unable To deliver....
This café is a wonderful place to relax. The food is delicious, the drinks are large and the prices are reasonable. I got the Crepes and a flavoured latte for under £8. The owner is a lovely woman who takes great care of her customers. Nothing is too much, and she will take card payments. The atmosphere is great as well. Based on Greece, there is lots of wood, fake plants hanging from the ceiling and lighting fixtures, lovely paintings and relaxing music. Finally, there is the location. Found on the cut through from Eastover to the Bus Stop, the Elysian is located right next to the bus station. There is a short stay carpark just outside and the town high street is less than 10 minutes walk away up Eastover. There is also an Asda supermarket nearby. So in conclusion I absolutely recommend this café. It is a gem in Bridgwater, one of a growing number of lovely little cafés worth giving a try.
We called into Elysian the day after it opened for a quick drink. The owner was really friendy and nothing was too much trouble. The drinks were served very well, nice hot coffee served with hot milk on the side. We took a look at the menu and that looked great with some interesting items. We would highly recommend a visit to this new cafe.

The owner was very friendly, and they accept both cash and card payments. The cafe is open late and has a cozy atmosphere with lots of plants, natural wood decor, low-hanging lights, and soothing music. The overall experience, including the food, atmosphere, and service, was fantastic. I highly recommend this cafe, 11/10.
