Advieh offers delicious Turkish breakfast/brunch in a homely atmosphere. While the food is consistently tasty, some customers have faced challenges with service and the booking system. However, generous portions, diverse menu options, attentive staff, and great value for money draw diners back. Despite occasional hiccups with reservations and service, Advieh's unique menu offerings and friendly ambiance make it a must-visit for those craving Middle Eastern flavors in a cozy setting.
I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and the flavorful Moroccan Meatball Wrap at this restaurant. The service was prompt and attentive, with water automatically provided. The seating options include both indoor and outdoor areas. I chose to sit inside, but it was a bit warm due to the sunny weather outside.
My score 3.5 stars. Had lunch here a few times. Food great, staff pleasant but sometimes trying to get served takes ages the food can take a long time to come out (even if it is pre made stuff like dips/bread)! Most recently we had: A large salad plate of Tabbouleh plus Chickpeas in Tahini sauce – Great. Also Large Baba ganoush, Tzatziki, Dolma flatbread – Dips yum. Pity the service doesn't always match the food... Previously we've had Vego Antipasti platter: 2 dolmas Good. Olives Nice. 2 falafels Very dry. Feta A tasty generous block. Tatziki Yum (very thick had nigella seeds crushed almonds). Hummus Was ok, not the best we’ve had not strongly flavoured a bit too lemony. Pita bread fine. Zucchini fritter Well herbed with dill, but a bit chewy hard to cut. 2 salads: Chickpea in tahini sauce Very, very good. Tabbouleh Flavoursome, very good.
This morning, I decided to have breakfast at Advieh. I have always enjoyed their food and coffee. I ordered the delicious Advieh breakfast along with a large almond milk latte. As I was finishing my latte, I felt something hit my teeth. I spat it back into the cup and discovered it was a piece of glass. I called the waiter over, who apologized and took the glass back inside. She returned, apologized again, and offered me another coffee, which I declined. My sister and I got up to leave, but she went back in to speak to the staff and ask for the manager. The owner, who was painting at the front of the shop, said he was unaware of the incident and suggested that a glass might have broken the day before. He dismissed it as an accident. I was disappointed by their attitude and lack of response. I used to enjoy dining at Advieh, but this experience has changed my opinion.
9 of us caught up for our monthly brunch here. They were super accommodating esp with 2 high chairs needed (1 last minute) the food was delicious, so many great options and we all had food envy of each other so we will definitely be going back. Portion sizes are generous and the service was really great and very attentive.
Great food and atmosphere. Fantastic place for a quick lunch with work colleagues, and a varied, interesting menu with lots of unique choices.
