We found the staff friendly and the food was good. It's not cheap but nowhere is these days. Located in Sedbergh high street, the place has a timeless feel to it. Some people would say Sedbergh is too quiet to which I would say quiet is good and the M25 is bad .. very bad .. give me some chips to eat and I'll happily sit on the seats opposite The Haddock Paddock and munch my way through them ... I had a fantastic fish and chips experience here. The batter was light and crispy, and the chips were cooked to perfection. They also offer vegetarian options like veggie pies. I went for takeout for dinner, and the price was very reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10 per person. I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, and the service also deserves a 5. The atmosphere was good, rated at 4. I highly recommend trying the fish and chips along with the mushy peas!

Great friendly fish and chip shop. Some of the best f&c I've had for a long time. Everything fresh and stayed crispy until the end. Highly recommended.
