Don 't waste your time or money on this crappy place !!!

A quic... read more I stayed here for a week while visiting NYC. The location cannot be beat. A short walk around the corner is a Port Authority bus that takes you into NYC. A quick ride through the Lincoln Tunnel and you're close to Times Square. There's a nice bakery down the street as well as a bar that serves great seafood. This hotel was nothing special, perhaps outdated. It was clean and simple. The front desk person was always courteous. I only gave it 3 stars because the maids couldn't understand or speak English. If I needed an extra towel or bathmat the maids looked at me like was speaking a foreign language.

Secondly I got a room which when I turned on the tv it required a pin which obviously I don't have. I look around the room for number to call the front desk and absolutely nothing. Not even a phone book. So I send my girlfriend to tell them and they send her back with pretty much no options. So now I'm highly annoyed you pay for the service so you damn right I want a functioning tv. I head over to the front myself and demand a new room if it can not be resolved. He sends someone in and within seconds the person says they don't know the pin and tells us to go back and get a new key for a new room. We did exactly that. I get in the room and the TV sure turns on but now I can't even change the channel. And of course no number around to call. I refused to walk back in the cold for their poor service. So I finished the rest of the night but this will be the last time I return. Save your money and pick another motel.

While the location is convenient since it's right off the highway, the only things that seemed clean were the microwave and refrigerator. Overall, I won't be staying there again.

For your own safety, make sure to see the room before paying. The owner will probably refuse because the rooms are filled with mouse droppings and dead insects! Just take a look around the bed frame and you'll find plenty. Even when I presented undeniable evidence at the front desk, they still refused to issue a refund! Please steer clear of this place at all costs.
