At this Secaucus cafe, patrons have experienced a spectrum of satisfaction, primarily divided between commendable food offerings and disappointing service. Service issues have also surfaced, with unresponsive staff and inadequate resolution of complaints marring the dining experience. What Natalie Krüger dislikes about Hudson Bread Cafe:
I bought two empanadas which smelled like old oil and it was not delicious at all. It was the two worse empanadas Ive ever had in my life and I have had plently of empanadas. I also got a chocolate crossiant, the girl didnt even bother to warm it up so I ate a cold chocolate crossiant with rock hard chocolate inside. Smh. I wasted my money, don’t bother coming here. Just go to chipotle or something. Food: 1 View all feedback.

Disappointed in my blueberry scone after breaking of a small piece, I went back up to the counter and requested something different. The woman at the counter seemed quite annoyed that I was unhappy with my item, telling me over and over again it was fine, it just came out of the box, there’s nothing wrong with it. After numerous requests for a replacement item, or to speak to a supervisor, she went to speak to someone in the back and did eventually give me a croissant. Not once did she ask me why I was unhappy, what she could do to make things better. The only thing more disappointing than my scone was the customer service I received. I have to say the croissant was also, meh.Not sure I would go back to give them another chance after today’s visit.

A gem in Secaucus, NJ ..a good variation of sandwiches, wraps, salad, i had Berry smothie made with coconut water..was delicious..i had a sandwich with mozarella, pesto and tomatoes (forgot the name) but tasted like pizza! 10/10. Will definitely recommend this place..clean and spacious to eat or even work ..also sitting outside is optional. Vegetarian options: Yes they have.
