Good, honest local good. Excellent meat. Good price. The owner is fantastic, makes you feel instantly at home. Relaxed atmosphere.
We had the daily menu and a vegetables with gilled cheese dish (verduras con queso gratinado) and was delicious (in case you don't eat meat. Also one of the first dishes was vegetarian, a crêpe with vegetable (crêpe de pisto segoviano) and also the beans with meat (judiones de la granja con matanza). All was delicious, for mains we also had some meat. Everything was really tasty and the rations were generous. And for the desserts we had the Ponche Segoviano, a typical dessert from the region taken from a local bakery. Really worths trying. We strongly recommend going there if you have the chance. The workers and the owner also are really nice so you will enjoy your time there.
We spent a weekend in the area visiting family and needed somewhere to eat on the Sunday. We saw this on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. As it turned out we had actually been to the bar before but hadn 't noticed the restaurant area at the back. The weather was horrendous but the waiter lit the log (wooden pellet) burner and it was warm and cosy. He explained the main dishes on the menu and suggested we share one of the huge steaks. He also suggested a starter of grilled vegetables. We ordered a jug of house red and a generous basket of hot bread was broght to the table. The vegetables were delicious, peppers, onion, aubergines, asparagus etc. They were cooked just right and very flavoursome. The wine was delicious too. The steak was very good and plenty for two to share. It came with freshly cut chips. The owner came to chat to us to make sure everything was fine and my husband had an interesting converstaion with him about farming! The guy was very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to talk too. We asked for the meat to be medium and it wasn 't overcooked. We finished off with ponche segoviano a kind of cake soaked in syrup. I had a coffee and my husband a mint tea. The bill came to less than 50 euros. We will be back. This place is worth visiting, it has a kind of rustic charm with good, basic dishes. The waiter and owner were warm and welcoming (a rarity in the area) and we felt well-looked after. Great food, great prices and great service.

As always, Olegario gives the best service with a smile on his face and tries to enjoy you as much as possible and the situation in which you arrive: weekends, protective festivities, various celebrations ...... with a jug fresh is expected well always ...!!!

The place has a bar and two restaurant rooms. They have a menu of the day and also a letter. We went among several and some took the menu of the day that consists of three starters and three seconds to choose from. Others went for the steaks where they come with all the meat on a tray and then you choose the one you want. All the steaks are served on a hot plate that is then finished cooking, so if you like meat that is mooing, do not serve it on a hot plate We also took the boat which is a huge pizza equivalent to two medium pizzas Finally for dessert we had the Segovian punch and another typical cake from Segovia.
