**Dining Delights at a Local Gem** A recent visit to a restaurant nestled by a serene pond revealed a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While the service was consistently praised for its friendliness, the food quality varied significantly. Dishes like the Giant Bavarian Pretzel and Cobb salad were standout hits, showcasing delightful flavors and generous portions. However, some offerings, such as the frozen fish and unappealing chicken salad, left diners wanting more. Despite a few service hiccups during busy times, the inviting atmosphere and commendable staff made a lasting impression. We went to the restaurant on Tuesday to have a nice quiet lunch. It turned out to be a very frustrating experience. The waitress taking care of the tables on patio seated us and it took her 15 minutes to get to us. our water took another 12 minutes and atthat time we ordered the patty melt. we asked her and two other people to get us some ketchup . we proceeded to eat our lunch. Ihave to say the patty melt did not taste like burger it tasted like soy burger and mushy. Our fries got cold waiting on ketchupso I gave up. waitress laughed and said. I heard mustard. NOT. Who puts mustard on fries. The gentlemen at door brought us billwe expressed our concerns and he said the girl was in bathroom so he brought bill but she and other waitrresses were in roomfacing dining room laughing and not paying attention. I have never been treated and laughed at like that in my life and will notbe back if that is the kind of people that represent your business
I have eaten here many times. Usually we stop after a round of golf for lunch. Service is always good. There is a new restaurant manager. It feels like they are stull trying to sort out the menu. Prices here are very good and everyone is friendly. It isworth trying if you haven't been here yet.
Best deal in town! The portions are generous and the presentation is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. Prices are reasonable, and they offer a full bar along with a restaurant situated by the water. The tablecloths are linen, adding a nice touch to the ambiance. It’s definitely worth seeking out!
The salmon was outstanding, and the boiled vegetables were delicious as well. I would definitely return more than once. The warm apple pie was fantastic, but I wish it had come with some cream or ice cream.
We visited Island View for lunch on a Sunday and found the menu to be somewhat limited. However, we were seated by the window with a lovely view of the pond, which made our experience beautiful.
