Big Star Dogs - Sebring

Having grown up enjoying Chicago dogs and Italian beef in the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana, we're well-acquainted with the authentic flavors and toppings. BIG STAR DOGS did not disappoint in either presentation or taste. The Chicago dogs and Italian beef sandwich were genuinely Chicago-style, and the flavors were on point. The fries were thin, crispy, and lightly salted—just perfect! We're already looking forward to our second visit. I plan to try the Italian beef again, and I'm certain my husband will choose the same. Next on our list is the Polish sausage sandwich, a chili dog, and yet another Italian beef... Take a look at their menu and definitely give this place a try. You won't be let down!

I traveled over 2 hours to visit this place, and it was definitely worth it. I had the Chicago-style hot dog with sweet potato sauces, and it was fantastic! This is a must-try spot! The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly!

I couldn't believe it—this was a genuine hot dog joint, just like those in the neighborhoods and suburbs of Chicago. I had to check if it captured the true spirit and taste of my hometown. I ordered the Italian beef and fries, feeling a bit skeptical since I've always thought that nothing beats a TRUE Italian beef sandwich outside the Chicagoland area. To my surprise, I found one! The sandwich was spot on (they even asked if I wanted it wet or not), and it really hit the mark. The hidden gem was the Fritten! Big Star Dogs made a fantastic impression on me, and I can't wait to go back.

Excellent eatery. Took 3 other friends there yesterday and they are still raving about it today! Nice atmosphere and lots of famous folks’ pictures on the wall along with owner, Lazaro. Food portions are very good. I enjoyed the hot dog with sauerkraut..yum! The fries were a big hit too...done just right.
