I love the food here but as soon as I entered my order on the Kiosk the worker came out and picked at his teeth with his gloved hand and went to prepare my food with the same glove. I had to call him out and ask him to change his gloves. If this is how they work here probably my last time here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
My honey and I were looking for some late lunch options after a conference, and managed to find ourselves near Zuba. She was really wanting something different than me, so the mini food court feel was perfect. The ordering process is through a kiosk and easy to do. I got my order in for the Chicken Shawarma platter with rice and hummus. Writhing a few minutes, it was ready. I wasn’t sure what to expect, by man was I pleasantly surprised. The serving size is huge. The little salad was great, as was the hummus especially when paired with the warm flatbread that came with the platter. The chicken and rice was exceptional. So much so, I stopped by the counter in my way out and let the fellow behind the counter know just how much I enjoyed it. I’m only in town one more day, and have already found my lunch spot for tomorrow. I ordered two veggie platters, one with hummus and the other with baba ghanoush. Unfortunately, most of the plate was just rice, and the portions of salad and hummus or baba ghanoush were very small. The falafel balls were also smaller than usual. If I wanted to eat mostly rice, I could have made it at home. The only positive was that the food tasted good.
