The menu is extensive, with an incredible number of options, and the taste of the food was good overall. The front-line staff really stood out in a positive way. They were helpful in applying discounts for us as first-time customers and assisted with setting up an account, which we appreciated. That said, the cleanliness could use some improvement, and we weren’t entirely sure how much of the food was freshly made versus pre-prepared. The quantity was okay for the pricing, but there’s room for improvement there as well. We ordered a platter priced at $14.95, which included tofu as the main and two sides. We were a bit surprised by the portioning — the plate was mostly filled with sides, with very little of the main tofu, which wasn’t clear from the menu description. Having more photos of each dish on the menu would really help set expectations and guide ordering. Overall, this is a solid spot for vegans and vegetarians, especially if you’re dining with a larger group and enjoy sharing platters to try a little bit of everything. With some improvements in freshness, portion balance, and presentation, this place could be even better. Definitely worth checking out. Not vegan, just came for good food. Expectations met! First, a casual counter-serve place that still serves on real dishware. Maybe it’s the places I’ve been going, but I swear that’s been disappearing the last 5 years. I greatly appreciate places that make the effort to calculate the calories of their dishes and display them. Nicely packed Burrito with tax tip was $19.50, but that’s not terrible in this economy for 900 cal worth of food. Service was fast friendly. The pico de gallo gave the burrito the right amount of spiciness. Small detail, but I LOVE they have one/two-person sized bench seating and tables at just the right height. Also a huge menu with lots of good looking things. The ‘beef’ was tasty; not sure I could’ve mistaken it for meat, but it was great as its own food. Lastly, location is king and this is near the best you can get. 4 blocks from Pike Place, 1 block from Westlake, 5ish from the Convention Center, right next to the up-coming Barnes Noble. Now have a new go-to in downtown! I want to love this place because my husband is vegetarian, but I just had some of the worst Mac/cheese I think I've ever had. The only thing that was good was the strawberry lemonade.
They keep raising their prices! And messing with the rewards system. I've been coming here for a while, as it is convenient and quick vegan food, and for a while it was relatively affordable for downtown. I've seen then shrink their patties recently, shortly before raising their prices again. The staff is very nice though, and its usually a pretty clean joint. Despite that, wont be coming here as often as I used to.
