Union Saloon - Seattle
Union Saloon
Description
A welcoming Wallingford neighborhood spot offering creative New American comfort food with a Southwestern twist. Highlights include moist fried chicken, legendary homemade biscuits, and inventive brunches (waffles, biscuits & gravy, oyster mushroom scramble) paired with flavorful cocktails. The atmosphere balances cozy warmth and relaxed sophistication, and service is consistently attentive. Prices skew moderate to slightly pricey but reflect quality. Occasional small portions and sold‑out items noted, yet diners repeatedly praise the dependable, delicious menu.

We have friends who live near the Union Saloon and every time they take us there for dinner, we wish we lived closer. Their drinks are flavorful and interesting. Their fried chicken is moist and delicious. Their sandwiches and salads generous and tasty too. It is a great neighborhood place!Food: 5/5
This place is a hidden ?. The atmosphere is super cozy, service is prompt and the food is reeeeeally good.If you are feeling new american food with a southwestern twist this is your place.
One of my favorite choices for a semi-fancy evening out. It's on the pricier side, but not excessively so, and the food and service are consistently excellent. A dependable place to visit. Food: 5/5
Love all the wood interior and the drinks and service were exceptional. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The fried chicken was delicious. Sadly, it was sold with a “Caesar” salad. Which turned out to be a kale salad with a “Caesar like” dressing very disappointing. Because it had just received a best in Seattle review. The bartender was adorable and made excellent cocktails. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $50–100
