Tsukushinbo - Seattle
Tsukushinbo
Description
This restaurant in Seattle offers Japanese cuisine that is a mix of highs and lows based on recent reviews. Despite some mishaps with service, such as spilled food and long wait times, the overall experience can be positive. Some customers have praised the fresh and flavorful dishes, especially the Una Tama Jyu and Saba miso-ni, while others were impressed by the attentive service provided by Sho and his team. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant adds to its charm, making it a favorite for some diners. However, for others, the food was found to be average or overpriced. While the sushi and sashimi received high marks, other dishes like the beef tongue left something to be desired. Overall, it seems that this restaurant is worth a try for those looking for a unique dining experience in Seattle's International District.

Delicious food and a menu that allows flexibility on money spent and amount of food consumed. I had the chicken Katsu and Ebi Ten onigiri and was not dissapointed. Lacking in Vegan options but the Mustard green Onigiri was delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
First time trying Katsu curry and it was life-changing! 10/10 recommend, already planning on going back next weekend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
It was just okay. I visited while traveling in Seattle, and unfortunately nothing really stood out. The food was fine but not memorable. Honestly i expected more since the ratings were good. I’m not sure whether this spot is popular among locals, but as a visitor, I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to eat here. It didn’t feel worth the time or money compared to other dining options in the city. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner
I had the best sushi and sushi experience of my life at Tsukushinbo. Every time I visit Seattle, this is my go-to restaurant. They truly prioritize quality over quantity, and it really shines through in their food.
This was by far our favorite place to eat on our trip to Seattle. I found it on the street from the hotel where we lived on maps and thought we would give him a chance. It didn't disappoint! First I love how there are no turtles on the outside. It feels like a secret little place from which only locals could know. Secondly, the atmosphere and aesthetics of the place are perfect. While it is small, it is very cozy. Third, the food is DELICIOUS! We loved everything we tried and planned to make sure we come back when we find ourselves in the city!
