Tsui Sushi - Seattle
Tsui Sushi
Description
This family-run sushi spot offers standout dishes — seared salmon, spicy tuna, gyoza and crispy karaage — with friendly staff, a lively bar and an open, casual layout that’s both family- and date-night friendly. Presentation and flavor earn high marks, but heavy to-go traffic and understaffing can cause long waits and occasional freshness inconsistencies. Expect TVs, upbeat music and cocktails; street parking varies. Great for groups and bar patrons, with limited vegetarian choices and service variability during peak times.

Tsui is an excellent local sushi restaurant! The gyoza were crispy and tasty, the spicy tuna roll had just the right level of heat, and the seared salmon nigiri was truly outstanding. That dish alone would draw me back. I tried a Lychee martini that was quite floral and not the best, but I’ll definitely return for the food! Food: 5/5
Vegetarian options: While I can’t recall the exact details, sushi typically offers limited vegetarian choices. Parking: There is street parking available, but the availability can vary depending on the day and time.
The food and drinks were exceptional. It's a family-owned establishment that features a bar area for those over 21, as well as a family-friendly section for customers with children. The music was lively but not overly loud, allowing us to talk and laugh throughout the night. Food rating: 5/5.
Food was excellent but the place is really understaffed (both kitchen and waiting staff). Ended up waiting nearly an hour before eating. Likewise the staff (who were super nice) forgot to take our order for first 15 minutes. Would be a 2 star review if the food wasn't so goodFood: 5/5
