As a vegetarian for most of my life I am often dinning out with people that aren't so perhaps that is part of the reason. My loss. My partner, who is gluten sensitive, and now embracing a plant based diet was celebrating her birthday and wanted to try someplace nice with a strong vegetarian menu. Tilth it is! We decided on the 5 course vegetarian tasting menu and it was excellent. At first you think the portions are small but soon realize that this is only because most places just serve too much food. We left feeling like we had just the right amount. Our favorite dish featured the Hen of the Woods mushrooms. The flavors were distinct, rich and savory. Wine and cocktails were also good. It was a quiet night so we enjoyed the extra attentive service. Dining at Tilth was a memorable experience we both enjoyed.
