**Restaurant Review: Thudsuan - A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Thudsuan, a Thai eatery, elicits diverse reactions, from disappointment to rave reviews. While some diners find the food bland and reminiscent of subpar dining, others rave about the incredible flavors and fresh ingredients. Standout dishes include the soft shell crab, Pad Thai, and vibrant soups, adored by many patrons. The service, often highlighted for its friendliness, contributes to a pleasant dining atmosphere, despite occasional criticisms of slow service or limited staff. Generally positioned as a solid choice for quality Thai cuisine, Thudsuan remains a noteworthy stop for both dine-in and takeout experiences.

Was Denise McDonnell at Thud Suan Kitchen a mag?
The food was absolutely incredible. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer and ended up ordering a second one because it was just that good. The fresh roll and rice noodle dish, paired with delightful ginger martinis, made for a perfect overall dining experience. View all feedback.
What Gregory B dislikes about Thud Suan Kitchen:
Nothing really special about Thudsuan that bills itself as authentic Thai food. I really felt like I was eating at a Chinese diner in a strip mall in north Texas (that's not a good thing). Food was bland, parking terrible, and one server in the whole place. But all that aside, the menu tries to sell you on Thai food offering, but the actual food doesn't rise to the occasion. Average at best View all feedback.
The Thai food here is excellent and reasonably priced. The soft shell crab was outstanding!
Deliciousness! Always fresh and tasty, great service, good portions. Love this place!
The food we have ordered has been delicious and flavorful. The only reason it gets four stars is that it can be quite greasy... more than standard Thai.
My favorite Thai takeout spot in Capitol Hill! The food is consistently high quality, and the staff is always friendly. It’s not really a place for a night out, but I could happily enjoy their takeout every night of the week. I've tried about five different dishes from the menu, and they've all been fantastic. I highly recommend it, especially the Green Curry, which is my current favorite!
