Nestled near Lake Union, this cozy Japanese restaurant stands out with its unique offerings and welcoming ambiance. Guests rave about the inventive dishes, including delicious ramen with light, complex broths and impeccable noodles. While some noted minor inconsistencies in sushi freshness, the attentive service and generous portions shine through. A variety of traditional fare, from veggie croquettes to tempting tiger rolls, ensures there's something for everyone. The restaurant's dedication to quality, from fresh in-house noodle-making to warm hospitality, makes it a fantastic local choice for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine.
Good portion with affordable price for the sushi omakase. However, the flavor and freshness level might not fit everyone’s need
This restaurant is a fantastic local option. They offer a great variety of popular Japanese dishes. We ordered the Tiger sushi roll, takoyaki (crispy fried octopus balls), and gyoza, and all of them were excellent. I'm looking forward to returning to sample their ramen. I also enjoyed making my own fresh blood orange sour cocktail and squeezing the orange myself!
One of the best eating experiences of my life. The staff are all sweethearts and the food totally blew me away, so good.
Wonderful place for a lunch all by myself! The JoJo en Teishoku ?? was really good! The beef was tender and flavorful with the sauce, and came in a good portion. The other small dishes were also good and subtle in their flavors. Nothing was overcooked, and everything was just delicious. The place is close to the Lake union and fun to walk over.
This place is good! The ambience is casual but cosy. They have dishes on their menu that you don't get at other Japanese restaurants in the vicinity. The flavors are very mild, but worth trying. The vegetarian croquettes we're good, they could havegiven more ponzu on the side. The kakiage rice bowl was delicious, perfect large onion and veggie tempura with a mild mushroomscallion broth. Extremely mild flavor. Prices can be lower for the ambience and quantity.
