The cocktails are reasonably priced and expertly made. The food has renewed my faith in Mexican cuisine in Seattle. I hope this place stays around for a long time.

I love to hear my husband talk about this place to all of our friends, and as he mentions to everyone, if this restaurant was located in Mexico, it would be a success for sure. So if you want authentic Mexican flavors, come and try it. Congratulations for an amazing vision and bringing us a little piece of our country. Can't wait to see what else I will see on the menu!

However, last night at Sur 16, I had esquites, c... read more We stopped visiting Mexican restaurants in the USA a long time ago because we found the food lacking in flavor. However, last night at Sur 16, I had esquites, chiles rellenos, ceviche, and churros with cajeta, and WOW—it couldn’t be more authentic! Don’t expect chimichangas or burritos here. If you’re looking for a genuine Mexican dining experience, this is the place to go. I felt like I was having dinner in my mother’s dining room! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and it’s a family-run business that I’m sure will be a great success!
