Description

Supreme has solidified its reputation as a late-night favorite, known for hearty portions and lively ambiance. While many patrons appreciate the tasty pizza reminiscent of classic flavors, some have reported inconsistent quality, particularly with soggy crusts and lackluster toppings. The bar offers a delightful selection of drinks, enhancing the dining experience. However, service can be hit or miss, with some guests noting inattentiveness from staff. Overall, while Supreme boasts delicious offerings and convenient hours, diners hope for consistency in food quality and improved service. It remains a go-to for those craving pizza, but with caveats.

The drinks pack a punch, and the pizza tastes great, even though the crust is slightly soggy. The Caesar salad is fairly ordinary and might not be worth trying. The restaurant’s ambiance, however, is excellent.

The pizza at Supreme has returned to the outstanding quality it had before the pandemic. Chef Fuller and his team have clearly overcome their difficulties in sourcing ingredients. The crust is once again perfectly baked with a delicious underside. In my opinion, when the Supreme pizza is at its peak, it’s the best slice on the East Coast. The staff have always been committed to excellent service, and I’ve never had a negative experience with any of them. They’re very friendly, though understandably can get stressed during busy periods. If you’ve avoided dining out due to the pandemic, I highly recommend giving this place another try. The restaurant industry has faced immense challenges in recent years, but these struggles don’t reflect the exceptional quality restaurants like Supreme continue to deliver.

As a New Yorker, I frequently find myself craving a slice of pizza to go. Unfortunately, my experience at Supreme was disappointing. The prices were far too high, and I had to wait an hour just for a single slice of garlic bread—absolutely ridiculous. They really need to get a proper phone line so customers can speak with an actual employee. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear that this was not authentic New York-style pizza, and charging $5 per slice was completely unjustifiable. For starters, the crust wasn’t even baked with cornmeal on the bottom. How can a pizza place claim to be good if they don’t understand the fundamentals? The slice I received was floppy, soggy, thin, and overly salty. The tomato sauce was underwhelming and barely noticeable, while the toppings were dry and tasteless. As for the scallion garlic bread, which cost $9, it was tough to chew. I expected it to have scallions baked into the dough, but instead, it was just sliced scallion sprinkled on top, which fell off as soon as I tried to pick it up. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. When I walked in to collect my mobile order, I wasn't greeted by anyone. I had to approach the bar to get the attention of an employee who was too busy chatting with a friend to acknowledge me. She was rude, dismissive, and seemed very distracted. Honestly, you should stop calling yourself a New York-style pizza place; it’s embarrassing. For $16, I could have easily gotten three or four times the quality and quantity of food at an actual pizza place in New York.

This restaurant is truly indulgent and delicious! They have excellent beer, amazing pizza, and a fantastic staff. I highly recommend it—11 out of 11! (Yes, my rating scale goes up to 11.) If you start coming here often, you might just reach my level of appreciation!

The New York-style pizza at this restaurant is excellent. I particularly liked the sauce. The crust could use a little more crispness on the bottom, but overall, I have no significant complaints. The double pepperoni pizza certainly lives up to its name, with plenty of toppings covering every inch. I recommend adding sausage for an extra flavor kick.
