I been wanting to try this spot out. I heard many great thing about their food and mostly their Banh Mi Sandwiches! I finally came here one day for lunch. It was pretty busy, due to many locals workers around the area came here to get food and etc. I ordered 2 different sandwich, spring roll, and some Viet item. What Madelleine D doesn't like about Saigon Deli Vietnamese Street Food:
Their sandwiches are great. They have a variety of hot food, smoothies, and dessert. Their egg rolls and meatballs are tasty (maybe not the freshest). Their tapioca was plain and lacked sweetness. However, the reason why I gave them two stars is because I value customer service as a customer and someone who works with people. We arrived an hour after opening and I asked the the ladies how much their spring rolls were... View all feedback.
This is the gold standard for banh mi in the Seattle Area. I've tried many different banh mi places across the west coast and Saigon Deli is still top 3, if not the #1 contender. Get the #2 and #1, a Vietnamese coffee, and one of the spring rolls with the fried egg roll crisp in the middle and pork on top, you won't regret it. Best enjoyed warm and fresh, growing up my friends and I would dig in as soon as we got it on the hood of our cars in the parking lot.

It was fast and the price is very affordable for lunch if you're on budget cut and etc. Now, the most important is the taste of the food! Turn out it didn't disappoint me at all. It was good and fair portion as well. The area is a little sketchy but doable to go in the day time. I guess it is one of the pretty authentic place in the area.

However, the reason why I gave them two stars is because I value customer service as a customer and someone who works with people. We arrived an hour after opening and I asked the the ladies how much their spring rolls were. Two of them didn't respond and the other one was extremely rude with her response. This was my second time going there and so far they've been rude each time.
$5 drinks on the sign but charges you $6 for Durian and Mango. Please update your sign of the price is not what you are charging. :
This is my all-time favorite banh mi place. Used to eat here on a regular basis when I lived in Seattle.
