Pro: The service was quite good and our servers were attentive and kind, keeping our cups filled and offering suggestions for the various menu items. The warm chai tea was very welcome in the cold restaurant. Con: The temperature inside the restaurant was extremely cold and the booth chairs weren 't very comfortable. The three people at our table enjoyed the lunch even though the spicing wasn 't as flavorful as it should be for authenticity. The menu did warn that it was American spicy . Big Con: The mandatory 20% service fee that showed up on my tab left me feeling betrayed at the end of the meal, as I did not see it posted in the menu or anywhere else. Nor did our server mention it. Subsequently, I see other reviewers mentioning the con of the 20% mandatory service fee, but for dining parties of four or more people. Never the less, it wasn 't mentioned or posted where it was noted by us until the final statement was delivered to me for my signature. It was notable that mid week lunch for three people cost as much as our normal food budget for the week.
Absolutely loved this place! Food was super delicious. We dined in on a Saturday evening, so the restaurant was fully packed. However, we got our table right after we went, which is rare for a Seattle restaurant on the weekend. There was zero wait time, and the service was extremely swift. We tried their spinach naan, and this was a revelation. It was so delicious, soft, and full of flavor (a must try! . The vegetable platter was great, and so were the chicken jalfrezi and shahi paneer. On top of everything, they served a special hot sauce (not too hot , which was so tasty and enhanced the taste of the platter even more. Highly recommending this place.
Wow! Mango curry! Delicious! Garlic Naan! Wooooow! Huge! One minor issue- the cleaning person came a bit early to clean our table. Strongly recommended! I loved their bathroom mural! Also beautiful!!
This is literally the best Indian food in the USA!! I love coming from Virginia to enjoy this incredible food and all the waiters and waitresses are wonderful!!
