Pike Place Chowder - Seattle
Pike Place Chowder
Description
Pike Place Chowder is a must for chowder lovers, serving rich, chunky New England clam chowder, lobster bisque and sampler flights with sourdough and clam crackers. Flavors and variety consistently impress, but expect long lines, very limited indoor seating and nearly impossible parking near Pike Place Market. Prices—especially lobster rolls—feel steep, so many opt to stand, take food to go or enjoy it in the nearby park. Ideal for tourists and seafood fans seeking a classic Market treat.

Expensive but absolutely delicious! In fact, it’s the best meal I’ve ever had! I highly recommend it! Tip: order online to avoid the long wait!
This was the best chowders I've ever had. I did the sample option and tried 4. They were all amazing
My wife and I got the big chowder sampler (8-6oz cups) and a Maine Lobster roll, so good, we're telling all our family and friends about this place, at our age (60) that was too much for us to finish it all, felt guilty to throw some away.
The chowders were phenomenal. I got the 4 flavor samplers and asked the staff to get me their most popular flavors. They didn’t disappoint. I got the shrimp roll and it was okay. I will definitely just get a chowder in a bread bowl when I come back.
The chowder is still great, but the crab rolls have become excessively overpriced. Additionally, seating is extremely limited—like, really limited. As for parking, if you're visiting this spot near Pike Street, it's best to avoid driving altogether. Finding a parking space is nearly impossible, and securing a seat inside is even tougher. The prices have skyrocketed, which is quite disappointing.
