Peloton Cafe - Seattle
Peloton Cafe
Description
Peloton Café pairs a relaxed, bike-shop–adjacent atmosphere with generous, well-executed sandwiches and thoughtful vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Friendly staff, spicy chai and tasty pastries add charm, plus outdoor seating and a communal, clean space. Coffee quality is inconsistent and service can be unpredictable—expect occasional order errors, long waits and unreliable online/phone ordering. Perfect for cyclists and groups with varied diets if you don’t mind a casual, self-serve setup and bringing patience at peak times.

Stars off for the unpredictability of this place sometimes the bike shop is inexplicably closed, sometimes they've gotten my order wrong multiple times (esp around coffee, but they are very nice about it), and the online ordering has never worked the 10 times I have checked plus they never pick up their phone so you have to physically walk there and then wait usually up to 30 minutes (at best, can be up to 45 minutes) for food. We live close so usually not a big deal but it is a hassle esp on days we want the food to go as we are heading out of town. The good: I love that this place has flexible options and that veggie and vegan options aren't just tacked on. I always get either the veggie breakfast sandwich w tofu bacon or veggie kimchi breakfast sandwich w veg sausage. Coffee here is great too, their chai is very spicy and not sweet which is lovely. The servers are really friendly too. Good outdoor seating too w some tables and some benches.
I had the pleasure of trying the beautiful Veggie Hash at this restaurant, and I'm so glad I discovered it. The staff here are incredibly friendly!
Not many places can effectively offer vegan, vegetarian, and meat options on a menu while ensuring everyone is satisfied. This is the one spot where I can bring all my friends without worrying that someone will have trouble finding something to order due to dietary restrictions. Summer and Bryce are usually at the counter and are always open to making suggestions if you feel unsure about what to order.
Randomly popped In for lunch on our vacation. Kind workers, beautiful clean space. The food was AMAZING! I have never had a gluten free sandwich that good before! The hot cold cut sand which is a must try!
I had a pastrami sandwich with chips and a strawberry muffin, and it was a generous and delicious meal—definitely large enough to share with a friend. The cafe offers a small selection of baked goods on the counter, and they have various gluten-free and vegan options available. Their menu includes sandwiches, burritos, burrito bowls, and soups. I ordered a gluten-free burrito bowl for someone with celiac disease, and they really enjoyed it. Interestingly, this cafe is named Peloton because it shares space with a bike shop and bike parts supply store. Just a heads up, you need to bus your own table here. The staff at Peloton are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the positive experience.
