I had a fantastic $5 bagel with cream cheese at this Seattle restaurant. The location is super cool, and overall I am a big fan. However, I was disappointed that the bagel with cream cheese and lox was priced at $18.50 before tax and tip. I initially thought it was a mistake. I will definitely return to try other affordable options, but at $18.50, I will have to look elsewhere for my Bagel-Lox fix. View all feedback.

I was looking forward to trying out this restaurant, so we ordered 2 lox bagels to enjoy outside. Our bill came to $50 with a tip! The food was decent, but not worth $50. It was extremely overpriced. Additionally, it took 25 minutes to receive our order, and it was incorrect. I believe the concept of the restaurant is good, but the high prices and poor service make it a disappointing experience. Enjoy this place in the neighbourhood! we enjoyed eating every time. but. eating is rarely a good experience. the coworker at the theke never really seems to know what is going on with eating (unsafe, which is not on camp, is not in the position to answer questions about the menu). we wait every time for at least 20 minutes to eat (even if we only want unroasted bagels and cream cheese, and even during the week in the middle). the coffee is great, and the barista is really beautiful. for eating, plan to order them so they don't hang while they wait!
Supported the Kickstarter for this place and came to pick up our order of 6 everything bagels and 6 sesame bagels with cream cheese first thing on a Sunday morning. Waited fifteen minutes without being acknowledged and got a bag with plain bagels and everything bagels, and no cream cheese. Waiting now with like 5 people as nobody acknowledges us and saw one woman try to order food to go who was told it would be an hour wait, so she left. Apparently they had an issue with their stove today.Every small business goes through growing pains and this one seems to be no exception. I write this so that others visiting can manage their expectations and hopefully give them some space and grace to develop. Ideally as time goes on they'll smoothe things out and be able to provide better service going forward. We're big fans of Zylberchstein's and are grateful this place has brought delicious bagels to the south end.
Amazing food! Amazing and friendly service. Wish they were open Monday and Tuesday as we wanted more!
Nice staff good food, good service but unfortunately the bagels are not so good. They are ok but for the price stick to other food. Like others have said, the bagels are a little burnt and not from toasting.Edit: Upping my review to four stars based on the reply alone. Like I said, great service!
We were really excited to come in and try this place out, we even came in on a weekday so we would not have to rush people talked about. We brought home a bakers dozen of bagels and unfortunately we were incredibly disappointed. They were wildly overcooked, every single one having a black bottom and so hard they were a challenge to even tear through. Tried eating one anyway and it left a burt taste in our mouth. It feels like they just sold a a fully burnt batch but it was such a disappointing bagel experience we are hesitant to even try it again.
