We were really impressed with how fresh the food was. The chili wontons we ordered had incredibly tender meat inside, like they had just made the batch that afternoon, not frozen for a while.Their hand pulled noodles also tasted like they were recently made, with a very satisfying chew and texture. We ordered the beef noodle soup sans spice (for a spice intolerant member or our party) and we were impressed with how flavorful the beef soup was.The waiter was also very kind and helpful! We’ll definitely be back to try more of their baos, dumplings and dry noodles.
Only once when they first launched in 2020, I've primarily ordered delivery and takeaway. The hand-pulled beef noodle soup is especially delicious and consistently superb. The Xiao long bao are somewhat underwhelming, but I believe this is because I had them delivered and the soup portion always spills out. They would undoubtedly taste good if consumed right away. I have not yet acquired anything else that I would not acquire again. I think this is a fantastic addition to Lake City and I hope it endures for a very long time.
