Was K Moore at Microsoft Cafe a mag?
Situated within the Bill and Melinda Gates Center on the University of Washington campus, this Starbucks offers a typical selection of coffee. The drinks and food menu, however, is somewhat limited. View all feedback.

What Emily A dislikes about Microsoft Cafe:
Terrible experience with the staff. A white male employee took my order and prepared my drink in the wrong size. When I pointed out that I had ordered a venti instead of a grande, he simply poured almond milk to top off the venti cup without apologizing at all. He acted as if it was my mistake, even though he was the one who got the order wrong. As a result, my drink ended up being mostly almond milk and ice. View all feedback.

Cute little cafe store, look kinda empty. The place is clean though. The waitress was really nice. If they can decorate that shop more I think it would look so much better. The coffee is good, bold and smell soo good.

I finally got around to trying the newest cafe on campus. Microsoft Café serves healthier options, but with a price tag. I ordered the quinoa bowl that came with sweet potatoes, lentils, pepper, broccoli, and a choice of salad or rice. I chose salad since I thought it was weird to get two starches. I also got tofu for an additional $2. My total ended up being around $10. The quinoa salad had a tangy lemony vinaigrette and a good variety of crunchy and soft textures. The roasted sweet potatoes were also a nice touch. However, the protein was definitely not worth the extra $2; the bowl only came with 3 pieces of tofu. I could buy a whole block of tofu for almost the same price. Also they don't let you do half rice and half salad; you have to choose one option or the other. If you have an HFS dining plan, it might be worth the extra splurge. But without one, I think I'll be sticking to the $6 wraps at the IMA or a much larger bowl at Chipotle. Service was quick when I went at 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon, but I probably avoid this place between 12-12:30pm. Overall: 3.5/5 for food, 4/5 for atmosphere, 4/5 for service
