Absolutely perfect! I give this sandwich a 10 out of 10, or a flawless 5 out of 5. The bread strikes the perfect balance of being crunchy yet soft, and it's served piping hot. Just take a look at that cross-section! I highly recommend the Neanderthal (a fantastic BLT). Plus, the Arnold Palmer is incredibly refreshing and delicious! View all feedback.
The shop is small, clean, and well-maintained. We ordered two sandwiches: one with pulled pork and the other with beef brisket. Overall, it was a good experience, but I preferred the pulled pork sandwich since I found the brisket a bit dry. The flavors leaned towards a cleaner profile, suggesting they relied on the quality of the ingredients to create taste rather than using a lot of seasoning or sauce. The lemonade was excellent—lightly sweetened and carbonated. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
We had an amazing experience at Mammoth! The sandwiches were not only delicious but also quite filling—just what you’d expect from a place named Mammoth! The roasted chicken in the Predator sandwich was absolutely incredible. I paired it with a refreshing Arnold Palmer and a slice of cornbread with honey butter. While the cornbread wasn't my favorite (it lacked a strong corn flavor), it served as a decent side. The sandwich was so generously portioned that I could barely finish it! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating, and despite it being busy, the service was impressively quick. It's definitely a place worth visiting, and we immediately recommended it to family in Ballard! And don't let the greens on my sandwich fool you; it was loaded with BBQ! I also took a clearer photo of their menu.

Probably the best or second best sandwich I've ever had. I ordered the predator, and the chicken inside was insanely delicious and tasted really high quality. Along with really excellent sides and mac and cheese. The service was also very good as well, and the food came out relatively quickly.
Enjoyed some excellent sandwiches at Mammoth this afternoon. I highly recommend the Predator (smoked chicken thighs). They also have a great outdoor seating situation right now that isn't basically a separate building, as I've seen at a lot of other places it's nice and open with heat lamps.
