The food was decent, but it was too expensive for what it offered. On the positive side, the service and cocktails were excellent, and the ambiance was distinctive. Overall, it was a fine spot to experience, but I probably won't go back because of the food's price and quality.

We have visited Loulay numerous times, always for breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is never loud or overcrowded, and the staff consistently provides friendly and professional service. You never feel pressured to leave your table to accommodate new guests. The food is generally outstanding and flavorful. Traditional items like fried potatoes are occasionally given a refreshing twist, keeping the menu interesting. While the quality is consistently excellent, the specifics of the dishes may vary. The egg dishes are always reliable and well-prepared. Portion sizes are just right—not too large, but not too small either. If you're looking to add a little excitement to your breakfast or celebrating a special occasion with friends, I highly recommend ordering the beignets to share. The espresso has always been satisfying as well, so make sure to try that or another delightful coffee beverage. I would rate Loulay five stars, but the prices have increased significantly, which is my only concern.

Thanks to server Ryan, hostess Tram and the chef (sorry I don't know his name) who went out of their way to make a special occasion for me, a lovely evening. We will be back for the foie gras!
