What User doesn't like about Local Public Eatery:
Food is decent but I felt its a bit expensive. The horrible part is the service. We were a group of 18 people and there was only one person to serve for the entire table. Even more horrible is that this person is responsible for many other tables too. This made them unresponsive at times. Since they are charging above average prices, I expected the service to be much better and shortage of staff should not be the rea... View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant was amazing. I ordered the spicy burger with fries, and the fries were thin and salty! The burger was cooked perfectly and was incredibly tasty.
We decided to try the hand-made Roti with a delicious curry dipping sauce, Malaysian curry bowl, roasted chicken wings, and deluxe burgers. The Roti and curry bowl were both amazing, and the ramen was perfect for the chilly evening. The chicken was fried to perfection - crispy and not greasy, and paired well with the sides. The fried chicken was served separately from the ramen, so it stayed crispy. We also tried the Beermosa, a unique drink made with beer and orange juice, which was surprisingly delicious. I was tempted to gulp it down, but refrained from doing so. It was a nice twist on the traditional mimosa. Overall, we had a great meal and left feeling satisfied. Whether you're in the area for vacation, business, or just looking for a casual after-work hangout spot, I would recommend giving this place a try.
I entered the restaurant and was seated right away, but I waited 20 minutes before receiving any water. While waiting, I enjoyed the nice atmosphere, but couldn't help but wonder about the service. The waitress explained that the water glasses were being cleaned, which was a bit concerning. Despite this, we decided to continue with our meal. The food was excellent, but the service was still questionable. I ordered the Poke Bowl and when it arrived, the waiter started to bring it to me but then suddenly pulled back (quite strange!). Finally, I was able to eat and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, I would give this place 3 stars because of the service. Some may say I am picky, but I believe a standard 15-minute check-in during the pre-meal process is reasonable. I would love to hear others' opinions on this.
Brunch is the best time of the day!! LOCAL public food offers a wide range of drinks and menu elements that make your Brunch experience amazing! With March madness this is a great place to watch spots, order a beer and eat some food! We came here a few weeks ago on Sunday morning and it was not packed and the staff was extremely nice and offered great suggestions! Next time you're in Seattle, look at them!!
Brunch was great! The eggs Benedict was yummy and the mimosas had fresh orange juice in them. Overall happy and would come back! The service was prompt and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Seemed a bit pricy for what you got, but everything was good! Impressed with the potatoes.
