I'm still mourning the classic closure of my favorite spot. I'm feeling really sad and heartbroken about Joe Bar shutting down, but I'm looking forward to discovering this new place. View all feedback.
What Michelly C doesn't like about Joe:
The interior has a charming vibe, characterized by worn wooden floors, green walls, and an overall slightly unkempt appearance. During my visit, the café was bustling with a constant flow of new customers and had limited seating, so it's wise to plan ahead if you decide to go. If you're in the vicinity, it's worth a visit, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it. View all feedback.
Latte was perfect and savory crepe delicious! Very chill neighborhood vibe.
Great coffee and atmosphere! The perfect place to sit outside. They even brought out some water for my dog.
Intimate setting, like sitting in front of a warm fire with a friend. Cappuccino was Seattle solid. Staff was great.
Funky local dive for those looking for a homey, Seattle coffee vibe.Building and shop look well-loved, the music and decor was charming, and the drink menu was as standard as they come. Overall, a good experience. My only thing was the actual drink wasn’t awesome. Other shops in the area have delivered on better beverages. Just my two cents…
This place has the best cold brew I've ever had. Fair warning: it's super charged with caffeine. You've been warned. The flavor is intense I'm a good way. The espresso drinks there I've had have been fine, but not the rock star that the cold brew is. They do crepes and breakfast sandwiches to order, and I've only heard good things (never had one myself). There are also locally sourced pastries. The shop is small with limited seating, so it can be difficult to get a table if it's busy. Best to plan for grab and go. Staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and all around awesome. Note that it opens later than most coffee shops and doesn't stay open past 3 pm.
