Feedback
Visiting Lola's was a bit of a letdown for one reviewer who found the restaurant closed despite Yelp indicating otherwise. Another reviewer was disappointed by the quality of the food, mentioning undercooked rice, burned chicken curry, and a past experience of food poisoning. However, a different reviewer had a positive experience, praising the delicious crispy pork burger and Caesar salad they shared with their husband. The reviewer did note, though, that their husband's burger bread was dry and that the gratuity was added without prior notice. Despite some mixed reviews, other diners had a wonderful time at Guest Chef Night, praising the kitchen for accommodating various dietary restrictions and delivering delicious food. Overall, most reviewers appreciate the concept and mission of FareStart, enjoying the delicious food, friendly service, and supporting a good cause. The atmosphere was also noted as a positive aspect, reminiscent of a restaurant in Fort Worth.
Entree salad was generous in portion, nicely presented with all ingredients fresh, clean and tasty with exception to the bay shrimp. Poor quality.
Beautiful opportunity to experience foo-foo gourmet food without the foo-foo gourmet price, while the less happy to restore. a very gorgeous original and experience!
Walked by one day and had heard about it so I went in it smelled like heaven. I told my husband about it so we tried it we like to eat early hence the no people in picture. We shared crispy pork burger and Ceasear salad. The burger had two generous slices of pork so I had one slice with salad, my husband had the burger with the other slice of pork with some salad. I had to salt my pork and I was happy with the meal. After we left my husband told me his bread on burger was dry. They did not tell us at the beginning or we didn’t read it anywhere the gratuity was added in. It would of been nice if they would have said at beginning.
I love this place. It's great for lunch with some tasty affordable options and the staff are always lovely! Plus you have to love the mission! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section
The cause of FARESTART restaurant chef's dinners is extremely worth and to be commented. The service is outstanding and charming by local volunteers. The food is enjoyable. Unfortunately, the acoustic, especially upstairs is bad for people with hearing aids and even for those without impaired hearing.
