When I walked in the door I was greeted by some one who used to serve me here YEARS ago. He definitely remembered me and asked if I was still working with the same company. We didn't remember names but its nice to know when you come here you can know what yo expect; courteous, quick, clean. I mean it is still a Denny's, 4th Ave Diner was better ;

However, the food was good, and we found the prices reasonable for the quality of service we received. We were particularly happy that there was at least one staff member who spoke Spanish and was able to assist us more effectively.

When my meal arrived, the chicken was burned, and I was told they were out of mashed potatoes, so instead, they gave me fries without asking what I wanted as a... read more When my meal arrived, the chicken was burned, and I was told they were out of mashed potatoes, so instead, they gave me fries without asking what I wanted as a substitute. When I mentioned the burnt chicken, the waiter spoke down to me instead of addressing my concerns respectfully. Another person in our group ordered the mashed potato biscuit bowl, yet again, there was no mention of the shortage of mashed potatoes. Two of our party ordered steaks, and they were not cooked to their specifications. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't wearing a name tag, so I couldn't identify him, but he was an older man with a very strong accent and was extremely rude. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any Denny's restaurant.

This is the second time we've come here after 9 PM, and unfortunately, it's the second time we've received cold food. The coffee was also burnt, and we hardly saw our waiter. There were hardly any diners, so I don’t understand why we had to watch our food sit in the window for so long. I was just moments away from walking out by the time we finally got our meals.

The soda was served in a coffee cup, which was a bit odd at first, but then I realized how well it kept my drink cold even in 80° weather. Do yourself a favor and visit Dennys soon!
