Nestled in West Seattle, this charming diner offers a unique blend of friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a neighborhood bar where everyone feels welcome. While some dishes, like the eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy, have drawn criticism for their lackluster execution, other offerings, such as the tuna melt and the ambiance, create a delightful experience. Regulars appreciate the casual setting, ideal for watching sports or enjoying a family brunch. With its attractive decor and accommodating staff, this eatery is worth a visit, even if navigating the entrance poses a slight challenge.

I have always experienced excellent service at this restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The coffee is decent. There are parking lots on both sides of the restaurant, so if one is full, you can usually find a spot on the other side.
Bar offers giant sandwiches with bags of chips after the restaurant closes. Great drink prices. Friendly staff.
Food was good. Lots of breakfast options. Sadly, service severly lacked on a Monday morning just before 10am. Was only a few tables with customers in the anger room with 2 servers manning. Took a while to get the food ordered. Then we were never offered coffee refills until my wife and I were done with our meal, plates stacked, credit card ready and waited about 10 minutes while the servers were busy doing side work. The food had been cooked in a timely manner and served to us hot. So the issues strictly land on the servers and not the kitchen. Was disappointing for a long standing food establishment in the area. And a breakfast place really needs to prioritize coffee service.
The biscuits and gravy tasted like they came from a can. The hash browns were undercooked with hardly any browning on them, similar to those at Denny's. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.
