Was Laura Cook at Chef Liao a mag?
Best Chinese food. Love the potstickers, spring rolls for the appetizers. The hot and sour soup is legit. But any chow mein, the Mongolian beef and honey walnut prawns are my favorite entrees. View all feedback.
What Berneice Hauck dislikes about Chef Liao:
This is the worst vegetable curry I've ever had.. no joke. There's literally no flavor. None. I had such high hopes : Also rice was almost $2 extra?? For curry??? A dish that usually comes with rice? So i went home and made my own.. Should have just made my own curry too View all feedback.
If there was one word to describe Chef Liao’s it would be Authentic. With it being just down the road from the Woodland Park Zoo it makes for a delicious end to a family day/date day. Chef Liao cooks in an open layout kitchen for all to see him work his magic. You can hear him chopping up the veggies and throwing them into the wok. If you’re looking for some great food, atmosphere, and price Chef Liao’s is the place to go! PS: the lunch special is a great option if you’re looking for a full meal for less than $15 (main course served with steamed rice, soup, and egg roll or chicken wing all for $9.95 $10.95)
This restaurant was amazing. We ordered the General Tso's chicken, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, stir-fried vegetables, and rice, and everything was delicious. Despite the sticky tables and the water glasses being placed rim side down, the food was so good that we will definitely be returning. I was willing to overlook my slight germaphobe tendencies just to enjoy the perfectly cooked food.
Very impressed!! Absolutely delicious!! Everything we tried from the wonton soup, pork fried rice, to the general TSO ! Very flavorful. Definitely will return.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of options that are consistently delicious. Some menu highlights include the lemon chicken with a side of rice and the Hong Kong style chow mein.
