Feedback
Chan, a cozy gem in downtown Seattle, continues to impress food lovers with its innovative Korean dishes and vibrant atmosphere. Diners rave about the bulgogi sliders, rice cakes, and mushroom japchae, all deliciously satisfying. While the flavors are generally well-received, some have noted that the dishes can be a bit saucier than before. However, service can lag during peak hours, with some guests suggesting an additional server would enhance the experience. Despite minor service hiccups and occasional noise, Chan remains a popular spot for sharing fantastic food, especially during happy hour. Fans eagerly anticipate their next visit!.
I recently visited this cozy restaurant that serves delectable and innovative Korean dishes. Many of the menu items were unfamiliar to me, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. The standout for me was the boggi - a dish typically made with chopped meat, but here it was prepared with tender and juicy steak instead. The only downside was that the restaurant was on the smaller side, often crowded and could get a bit noisy at times.
This restaurant is located near a popular hot spot. The food is decent, but a bit bland. They serve Korean cuisine and most dishes are either spicy or sweet and spicy. The food is flavorful, but the dishes we tried tasted similar to other places in the area. The prices are slightly higher, but reasonable for a restaurant in downtown Seattle. The sliders are a must-try!
Bulgagi sliders were amazing. Braised short rib too. Chicken fried rice was so so spicy but great!
We have been going to Cha:n since it first opened and have loved seeing how popular it has become. Making a reservation was a good idea (it was a Wednesday evening). There were four of us and ordered the bulgogi sliders, rice cakes, mushroom japchae, and the chicken fried rice. We shared them all. They were all super delicious, just like we remembered the dishes to be from the opening of the restaurant. One thing I did notice was that the dishes were saucier than usual. There were more sauce eon the sliders and the rice cakes. I didn't mind but prefer when they weren't as saucy. Overall a great dining experience and can't wait to go back again!
