Was Daniel at Cedars a mag?
The best customer service I’ve ever received hands down! Food was great and came out super fast. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel like this spot deserves the love. Special shout out to Amir who goes above and beyond for his customers!! I would recommend to this spot to anyone who loves good food and a good atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Nibedita Paul dislikes about Cedars:
I'll not recommend this place. It was the worst Indian food I have ever had. The spices were not tried, the serving was too less. They did not even have proper dining plates. I ordered a chicken and a fish dish, the fish tasted raw...: View all feedback.

We've been going here for years and love all their dishes. They are always so flavorful, and delicious that we order more just so we can have leftovers; and the leftovers are pretty darn good! And, the owner is so sweet and friendly every time we show up for eating in or a pick up.
Came on a Wednesday night about 7pm. Was not crowded. Vegetable Rogan Josh was very good. As someone who likes and tolerates food medium spicy, their medium spice was right for me, might could gone up another level. Ambience very nice and upscale (esp for the area). Service was very polite. Only thing I would change: wish the music was a little softer. Paid parking in front (do not think belongs to the restaurant but very convenient).
Loved the food here! brought someone not super familiar with Indian food and they enjoyed it a lot. The aromas are good, but medium hot is still quite a lot of zero spice. even great taste without the spices. The pane is wonderful here and the garlic naan is to die. also, great price!! The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is nice. also, great vegetarian options!
Don't order any tandooris. The meats are lack of flavor and tough to eat. The soup is just a plain soup.
The Indian food was quite good. However, the curry only contained meat—no vegetables. The portion sizes were generous, and most of us ended up needing takeout boxes. I had requested no rice, but unfortunately, it still came with a plate of rice. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and it appeared that many people were ordering takeout rather than dining in.
Nestled near the University District, Cedars serves as a casual dining option for those seeking Indian cuisine. While many patrons appreciate the generous garlic naan and vibrant atmosphere, the food often falls short of expectations. Dishes like chicken tikka curry and vegetarian options lack the rich flavors typically associated with authentic Indian meals, leaving some diners disappointed. Service is generally friendly, though communication challenges regarding dietary restrictions emerged. Parking remains a hassle due to scarcity. Despite these flaws, the restaurant may appeal to budget-conscious students looking for a quick meal. Overall, improvements are needed for a better dining experience.

Such a yummy place for Indian food with a small parking lot which is a bonus! I tried the butter chicken, mango chicken curry and paneer masala with my friends. Love that each of their entrees comes with rice, we also ordered a garlic naan which was great. The soda drinks came out a little flat but everything else with service and wait time was fine.
This restaurant is well-maintained and spotless. It’s my top choice whenever I visit Seattle. The staff is friendly, and the food is incredible. I will definitely be returning many times. Highly recommended! Food: 5/5
The staff at this restaurant are truly wonderful! Even when, like me, you forget to complete your online order, they are so kind and helpful. I really appreciate their assistance in figuring out what went wrong. If anything were to happen to Cedar's with the new apartment building being planned at that corner, I would be quite upset! On top of that, the portions are massive, the flavors are incredible, and I'm absolutely in love with the mango lassi!
This restaurant offers fantastic Indian cuisine in the university district. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the flavors are definitely worth it. Be sure to try the garlic naan—it's a standout! For the best taste experience, I recommend choosing a medium level of spice. The ambiance is also pleasant, with Indian music playing softly in the background. As for vegetarian options, I highly recommend the garlic naan, although I wasn't a fan of the chole paneer.

The best spot for Indian food near UW! There’s a parking lot next to the restaurant with limited spaces, but finding street parking shouldn't be too difficult.
This is an excellent spot for enjoying a casual meal with a group, and it offers fantastic value. It's one of my favorite places to dine with family, so when I received a voucher in the mail, I decided to give them a call...
