This is such a cute spot!!! Very Instagram-able, vegan and vegetarian friendly, with AMAZING brunch! I've driven past this restaurant so many times on the way to the arboretum and I'm so glad I finally got to check it out. Don't get me wrong, I love meat, but they really delivered on flavor and experience with their vegetarian dishes. I tried the tofu scramble instead of eggs and was really impressed. What Greta Bruen doesn't like about Cafe Flora:
The vegan options they have are good enough, but this place is a little too dairy and egg reliant for 2020. Why go to a veg restaurant with only 1/2 the menu available for vegans? Might as well just stick with Plum when looking for a nicer meal in this price range. View all feedback.
They have some good vegan options making delicious cocktails. I had the flora grain bowl and yams fries and was happy with my meal!
Best tofu scrambled I had everywhere on the butternuss and kale scramble it was smokey. the zimtrolle was delicious, exactly the right amount of sweet, really great size, great to share, came hot and had crispy edges with fluffy interieur. we order the golden milk and cowardly orange latte, golden milk was deliciously balanced aromen, the cowardly orange latte was beautiful, but I could not really find the cowardly or orange taste come through, it was still a delicious latte though. I want to come back when I'm in town next time to try other things on the menu.
We came here during brunch and it was very busy, we waited about 30 minutes to get a table. We said first available as they have heat lamps for the outdoor tables. Table was perfect, lots of spacing between tables and they diligently check vaccine cards (saw them turn away a lady wearing a chin diaper who said she “forgot” hers and could they seat her anyway—“no” In any case it was well worth the wait, we both got vegan scrambles with tofu, mine was with mixed spicy greens and biscuits and mushroom gravy—my boyfriend’s scramble came with grilled potatoes. Food was really delicious, service was great and attentive. Restaurant is fairly large but beautiful and inviting. I would be here every weekend if I lived in Seattle. Oh!! And I completely forgot the amazing vegan waffle. Mouth watering as I write this review and I remember how good it was. Updated from previous review on 2022-02-22
I've eaten a few times here, once for lunch and once for dinner. both paintings were really good. last night I had the risotto and my partner had the tacos dorado. they were both so good! it was hard to save space for the gloomy and I'm pretty sure everyone was gloomy vegan. the vanille ice from full tilt was soft and perfect for the Rhabarb handle. will definitely go back! Extra bonus their to go container are 100% compostable and tree-friendly updated by previous review on 2022-04-10
Cafe flora has survived the pandemic and still offers din-in: they have a relaxing atmosphere, whether in the inner or on the covered terrace (which they also had pre-pandemic). they also added additional covered space outside. my favorite is brunch: and her vegan waffel with seasonal updates is delicious. Recently, the ginger-rhabarb maize waffel with Tahini butter was exceptional. they also have a fabulous vegan zimtrolle with frosting and pecans. their holiday prix fixed menus are always a tasty bite. the personal is professional, efficient and warm. they contribute to the overall casually uplifted experience: a charity holiday. I miss the rotating art exhibitions from pre-pandemic days. there was always a wonderful selection. updated by previous review on 2022-03-28
