Buddha Bruddah offers a range of Hawaiian dishes that evoke strong opinions among diners. While some patrons rave about the flavorful kahlua pork, huli chicken, and fried mahi mahi, others express disappointment over bland rice and lackluster desserts. The macaroni salad garners praise for its satisfying texture, but inconsistent seasoning in side dishes raises eyebrows. Service is efficient yet casual, with a self-service model that may not suit everyone. Overall, this restaurant presents a culinary journey where delightful flavors coexist with missed opportunities, making it a spot worth reconsidering based on personal preferences.

I have always loved this place! Used to go to the food truck almost everyday and am so glad they now have a store! Super fresh and tasty food! Make sure to try all the chilli sauces though, they're a bit more hidden in the store near the fridges and they're all great : glad to see the store has brown rice as an option now also haha : View all feedback.
What Thomas Reiche dislikes about Buddha Bbq:
Basil chicken plate was overall very tasty. The rice however was bland and didn't stack up next to the chicken, mac salad, and cole slaw. I also order a slice of banana pie which was the most underwhelming pie I've ever had. I expected it to be much more flavorful given it was $8 for the slice, but it was like eating flavorless custard with unriped bananas. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is mediocre at best and can be terrible, depending on what you order. I tried the phased see ewe, which was just okay. The flavors were imbalanced and there was too much soy sauce. My friend ordered the curry and found it to be terrible. The curry did not even taste like curry. I also ordered the coconut prawn to go, but regretted it as soon as I received my meal. The dish had no flavor and was served with a generic sweet chili sauce from a bottle. I stumbled upon this restaurant on my way to another Thai restaurant nearby. We decided to stay based on the higher ratings, but I now regret that decision. I believe this restaurant should not have a rating higher than 3 stars overall. I will not be dining here again.
This restaurant is a good spot to have lunch. It can take a bit long to get your order if you don't call ahead, but the food is worth the wait. The Moco Loco is a great choice. Food: 5/5.
I was blown away by this restaurant. Although it's a bit expensive, the portions are huge (think meat sweat huge) and bursting with delicious island flavors. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Hawaiian food! Food rating: 5/5
Spicy fried chicken mixed plate is my love language, and my love for Buddha Bruddah runs deep. I’ve searched far and wide for the best spicy fried chicken and theirs ranks near, or at the top of my list. Be sure to try a banana cream or coconut cream pie if you have room for desert.Food: 5/5
