Bodrum Bistro - Seattle
Bodrum Bistro
Description
This Turkish café has garnered mixed reviews, showcasing both exceptional culinary offerings and substantial service shortcomings. Patrons rave about the vibrantly spiced dishes, particularly lamb and eggplant specialties, paired with a commendable selection of Turkish wines. However, frustrations arise from inconsistent service, where staff appeared overwhelmed and unprepared. Additionally, logistical issues such as uncommunicated closures and mismatching menus have marred the dining experience for some. Regardless, many visitors remain hopeful for a return, drawn back by the promise of future feasts in an inviting, albeit currently imperfect, atmosphere.
Feedback
The menu on Open Table and the restaurant's website didn’t match what was actually available. The food was decent, but it wasn't what I had expected. The waitress didn’t seem very familiar with the menu and I had to repeat my questions several times. However, the owner was very friendly and personable.
It's too bad this restaurant is actually closed. Birthday celebration fail. Also, still got a re- information text prior, which added insult to injury. If they ever do reopen, I won't be trying
