Reviews - Boat
Reviews summary
Boat Bar received mixed reviews after changes to the menu didn't impress all diners. While some found the food excellent but overpriced, others enjoyed the fantastic seafood options and cocktails. The service was generally good, but some guests felt underwhelmed. The atmosphere was also a point of contention, with small portions and high prices leading to a dystopian feel for some guests. Overall, while some had great dining experiences, others felt disappointed and hesitant to return in the future.

Food is delicious. Service is amazing. The dining room was too loud for my taste; not the restaurants fault. A table was too loud, that improved once the loud diners left. We will definitely return!
Wonderful dining on our anniversary. Food is the expected award winning level of excellence by Rene Erickson. Staff is very attentive and helpful.
Consistently excellent food and service. It is always a pleasure to have dinner there. Keep it up!!!
The oysters are exceptionally provisioned and prepared, usually three types the menu is eclectic and each dish is at its best and, there is the bread pudding

Starting with great craft cocktails, delicious oysters, a crab special, asparagus, and the steak frites, everything was prepared perfectly. And the bread pudding was the perfect dessert. The server was fairly brusque in a hurry to get everything ordered even though we were seated at 8:15 and they weren’t terribly busy. If she had slowed down a little, we would have ordered and enjoyed more food and drinks.

Ideal place on a summer night for interesting small fish dishes, white wine, and good company!
The ambience is great! Cute spot, love the colors! The food was good but everything was over-salted. I wouldn't run back for the food.
Every dish had great depth of flavor and was perfectly seasoned. It was our best meal in Seattle.

Ordered oysters and a grilled lamb dish. The seafood was excellent and fresh, lamb nicely charred. The dining room is bright and airy with a casual vibe. Staff were friendly and quick. Bathrooms were tidy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30
Had a great birthday meal at Boat Bar. The oysters were delicious and props to the person behind the bar shucking all night! It was fun to have a variety to choose from and we chose them all. The small plates are generous. The smoked scallops and crab-filled brioche donut were standouts for me. I also need to call out the incredible and attentive staff here. Our server was friendly and warm and everyone who we encountered was lovely. We will be back!
