Was Hugo Aguas at Banh Town a mag?
Pho is one of my favorite dishes, so I decided to try the server's recommendation at Bahn Town. The spare ribs were wonderfully charred and saucy. The atmosphere of the Vietnamese restaurant is decorated with artwork that reminds me of street vendors, giving it a unique character with table side heaters and coffee cans for utensils. The service was prompt, friendly, and efficient despite the constant stream of take-o... View all feedback.
What Karen D dislikes about Banh Town:
Can't recommend this place. Chicken pho was pretty flavorless, I added hoisin and sriracha and that helped but the chicken and noodles were cold and the broth was only like warm. The insides of the egg rolls were mushy and the chicken wings were not good, flavorless and mostly breading. View all feedback.

This restaurant is a one-of-a-kind and lively spot! The service, while sometimes a bit slow, is very friendly and accommodating. They offer unique menu items not typically found at other Vietnamese restaurants. The ambiance is excellent, although the space is a bit small, so there may be a wait for a table during peak hours. Be sure to try the house special French chicken Banh Mi or the Beef Stew (served with baguette)! The grilled onions are a delightful addition. And don't forget to try the delicious slaw that comes with it. It's the best! They also offer a kids' menu, which is a nice touch.
They're finally open for dining! Clean and kind service.Ingredients were fresh and visually appealing and in general just solid Vietnamese in the area.Parking lot is hit or miss, super tiny and not easy street parking in the area. We're lucky to have a lot of excellent Vietnamese in the area and this place is right up there.
I first tried the grilled pork banh mi when the restaurant was offering only window service, and was extremely impressed. I returned recently when they reopened their dining room and finally tried the beef pho. The broth was amazing and there were plenty of meat slices. I believe this is now my favorite pho in Seattle.
