Nice sitting area in free. there are vegan options also on the regular menu when the vegan window is closed. the vegetarian vermicelli is vegan and delicious.
Ordered in the ba bar green window and sat outside. share the Papaya salad, miso aubergine side and garlic kimchi fried rice with a friend. the aubergine was perfect. so smoky, but not exaggerated, and the sauce was delicious. the roasted rice was really tasteful and the Papaya salad was fresh. also ordered drinks in the ba bar that has some really funny cocktails.
This place was quite solid. the tamarind soup was particularly good. in the suppe and laksa were the sweet potato and squash much too big for my mouth, but still tasty. also it is not clear from their website, but I asked and they can go ba bar and order from the ba bar green menu. updated by previous review on 2022-04-30
I’ve been a fan of Ba Bar even prior to this transition to vegan food. I ordered the Kabocha sweet potato Laksa and a tofu banh Mi. I thought the kabocha was good with the broth being very flavorful. Banh mi was good as well but definitely expensive for a banh mi, but that’s to be expected given the area. Be aware that I ordered the food via UberEATS. I called to inquire about eating in but was told that in order to dine in, you must buy something from the regular Ba Bar menu as well. Keep that in mind if you wish to dine in. All in all, definitely looking forward to trying more dishes.

Be warned that this is not a vegan restaurant. Ba bar green is just a vegan menu at a normal meat serving restaurant. This listing should be changed to an omni restaurant with vegan options. Food is good, if a bit overpriced.
Had the lemon grass noodles. They also have a meat menu so it's great for groups with varied diets.
The sweet potato laksa and papaya salad were delicious and refreshing especially on a sunny day like today. I really liked the use of mint in the salad and will definitely be stealing the recipe My partner had a vegetarian Pho and enjoyed it as well. This place definitely leans more towards the Whole Foods and less processed side of Vegan eats.
Came across this place around the corner from where we were staying. Was the perfect take out— everything was so tasty. Would highly recommend!

Great location in South Lake Union. I really like the massive windows they open up when the weather is nice. The food is good and consistent each time. It can get busy, so good to come early or closer to closing. I end up coming at least once on each trip to Seattle.
The menu is perfectly sized, featuring uniquely flavored dishes, with casual yet efficient service. The atmosphere is easygoing and inviting, and after trying every item, I can confidently say there are no weak links. Thank you, Eric Bahn!
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was delightful. I also felt that the prices were very reasonable.
The food was incredible, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was exceptional. The restaurant has a relaxed, homey vibe that I really enjoyed. I was thrilled to see fresh coconut on the menu—it was just perfect! We tried two different types of wings along with vermicelli noodles, and the bread pudding was simply divine. We were in the mood for something warm to drink, so the bartender made us hot chocolate with Baileys Irish Cream, which tasted amazing! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I had a fantastic time overall!

The portion size was small, and I was disappointed with the amount of protein. It may appear substantial in the picture, but that's only because I added something else. Otherwise, I would have received just two small pieces of beef and a few bits of ox. The flavor was quite good, so if you're in the area and craving Pho without wanting to travel far, this place is worth a try.
Very nice and modern Vietnamese restaurant in the South Sea Association. I ordered the crispy rolls (cha gio) and I must say I like how crispy they are. The fish sauce was okay. It's a funny place to hang around with your friends or have a date. The staff were friendly and helpful.
This location is awful. They had to google how to make a drink (literally saw them) and when we tried to order a dessert, server didn't even know what it was so I had to show them on the menu? Then after having to flag down a server to close out our bill, another server stops us to ask us to pay? Like WTF? Just go to Cap Hill location, guys.
Keep in mind that there are two kitchens here: the regular menu and the vegetarian option, Ba Bar Green. I recommend trying both. The service was slightly above average, although there were a few puzzling missteps, especially given the lack of crowds from the nearby offices. Regardless, the quality of the food was excellent. I look forward to returning for some non-vegetarian dishes and desserts next time I'm in the area.
Modern Vietnamese restaurants have really increased in popularity in the recent years and it's easy to see why. With a focus on fresh, healthy ingredients and bold, flavorful dishes, these restaurants offer a dining experience that is satisfying, healthy and delicious. Ba Bar is a Vietnamese restaurants that has an innovative takes on traditional recipes. You can find classic dishes like pho, Bún bowls vermicelli noodles Sài Gòn Chicken Wings on the menu. On Mondays Tuesdays they have Wing specials 10 Wings for $9, but you have to order a drink. The wings are sauced up with nước chấm (fish sauce) so very flavorful!Service was pretty good here, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to make recommendations or accommodate any dietary restrictions. The atmosphere here is welcoming and decorated nicely, we were sat in the back of the restaurant so it was quieter. It was the perfect place to relax, catch up and enjoy a meal with my cousins.I ordered the combo vermicelli noodles for $19. The portion was decent, the noodles were chewy and perfect texture, the chicken thigh was cooked nicely and not dry, but I wasn't a super fan of the house made beef pork sausage. Overall, a fun, trendy place to go and get Vietnamese food, but priced a bit higher than your typical Vietnamese restaurants.

I really don't know how to start this review other then saying, Wow! I came to Ba Bar South Lake Union last night for a quick bit to eat, and liked it so much that I just had to come back a second time. Last night I got the garlic crab noodles, and it was so good. The crab was sweet and flavorful, the noodles were spicy and there was plenty of garlic. That alone was enough to get me to come back but then I had the du creme cup, a chocolate dessert, that clinched my return. The following night I had the chicken wings, which were sooooo good, and the pho ga, a chicken noodle soup, yet another slam dunk. I will make BaBar a go to stop everyone I come to Seattle. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
