Ordered the matcha ube and the caramel Thai tea. The matcha drink was great but the Thai tea was nasty. Original we would like to give one star based on the drink, but later on the girl offered to remake another drink because the Thai tea was not ok to drink. They remake the matcha latte and it was good. So I guess recommended the ube and the latter View all feedback.
What Courtney Brown doesn't like about Atulea:
Ordered an ube latte without coffee. They put decaf coffee in it even after i explicitly mentioned several times that I was trying to order what would be equivalent to an ube milk tea. When I placed a new order (an ube matcha latte without matcha) to correct the first mistake, they still charged me full price for the replacement drink. They were also pretty rude throughout the entire exchange. View all feedback.
Super cute spot!! I’ve tried everything from cheap grocery store boba to Michelin star boba. I don’t want to see anyone complaining about the price because you can usually find only basic boba for this price. The menu is perfection to me since I’m a matcha, ube, and coffee lover. I’m obsessed with the online ordering system. I can choose my milk, sweetness, amount of boba, amount of topping. Having that customization is a rare thing. This place is great for people who want a ‘healthier’-ish high quality boba. It’s not heavy, it’s not artificially sweet. I got my order pretty fast and the girls working were nice. I love that they have a punch card system. I’ll definitely visit when I’m feeling like a treat.Items that I ordered: chocolate strawberry and the house milk tea. I ordered half everything. Half sweetness, half boba, half toppings. Tea was nice and strong on the house one and the chocolate and strawberry with cream cheese was surprisingly not disgustingly sweet. The cream cheese is quite salty but if that’s your thing and you love cream cheese it’s a nice contrast.
Surprise find! Cute, cozy neighborhood matcha tea place on 12th Ave between E. Olive E. Howell St. in Capitol Hill. Fast, friendly, reasonable, clean, limited seating, clean bathroom, yummy tea, boba, coffee, etc. Support your local small businesses ?
The butterfly matcha was life changing! The lemon/raspberry rooibos tea was also phenomenal. Everything on the menu is a unique spin on teas that I have not seen offered anywhere else, and they have their flavors downnn. Highly
Absolutely the best boba place in Seattle!! Highly recommend the hojicha milk tea and the matcha butterfly. Their ice cream is also 10/10. I love the atmosphere and the staff too.
My friend brought me when I was visiting them in Seattle and craving boba. It was definitely worth the visit.Immediately walking in, the shop is extremely stylish, modern, and hip. The design choices are perfectly busy but maintains a clean aesthetic. The staff were equally stylish and fit the aesthetic of the shop. The shop size itself is intimate and fairly quiet with a fair amount of seating. The shop is also clearly environmentally mindful. They offer biodegradable cups and utensils. The design of the store also reflected this with bamboo decor and multiple real plants in the dining area. The drinks were also delicious! I got the red bean matcha with milk, and it was so flavorful! It was the perfect consistency- not too thin or icy. And it felt substantial, like it was made of fresh ingredients instead of powders or syrups.
