Reservation was honored on time, despite the lobby being clogged with 49ers Football fans who were waiting to get a glimpse of the team that was staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel where this restaurant is located. The menu has a heavy tilt toward Italian cuisine and the entrees we ordered were well executed, with strong flavor profiles and served at a proper temperature, plated in an appetizing manner. The menu is simple enough and offers a Lunch Combo of Soup or Salad and 1/2 sandwich for $20. An up charge of $4 allows you to choose a smaller portion of one of their pasta dishes which was still an amazingly generous portion. One pic is the Baked Ziti Bolognese the other is the Fettuccine, both accompanied by the Beecher’s Flagship Cheese Tomato Soup. Our reason for choosing Andare was based on its proximity to The Paramount Theater and online reviews. Just about a 4 minute walk to the venue and the food was delicious. Only stumble was the service which was a bit slow and while the bar was jammed, the tables in the restaurant were less than half full. Service was still polite and efficient. They leave a bottle of water on the table so you can refill your own water, and they added an automatic 18% gratuity to the check for a party of 3, which was odd but fine. Even though the service was a bit slow, I probably would have still left 20% because the math is simple. I imagine if you were in the hotel for dinner you would be headed to Daniel’s Broiler. But if you want a tasty lunch at a reasonable price in a nice setting, this is a solid choice. Very pushy server, tried to upsell on everything. We paid $120 for flavorless slop with no salt or seasoning, and dry focaia bread. Overall, worse than Olive Garden. Would rate 0 stars if possible. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $20–30

I don’t usually eat at places this nice honestly, I’m pretty poor but this was a splurge as a last minute decision after the other place we were going was closed and it was incredible, I’m so glad we ended up going here. My group wanted to go out to eat for break fast after Yom Kippur and Andare Kitchen Bar flawlessly handled an unexpected group of 7 exhausted, starving adults and two (sleeping) children and served us incredible food. I spent $50 and while the food was amazing, the service was absolutely above and beyond and what I felt was really worth the cost. I don’t remember our waitress’s name, sadly, because I’m terrible at names and it had been a very long day but she was incredible and kept all our glasses filled and made sure we were perfectly attended to even while juggling several other tables and she had an incredible and fun attitude about it to boot. She really made the experience and atmosphere incredible and she’s going to be a huge part of why it’ll be such a fond memory for me. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place was empty on Sunday for lunch. There were two people cooking , walking very relaxed around the kitchen area. One person serving. It took forever to get food. The server tried her hardest and came by to reassure us often, but evidently the linguini was the slow part. I could have made it in 1/3 the time. I wouldn 't go back.

The service was exceptional here. I notated that I was visiting for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel special. Unfortunately, I was not a huge fan of the food. It was not as enjoyable as I would have hoped for and due to this it became very pricey for the quality.
