Aug 4 2019 late night dinner with Svp. Got vegetarian windshield wiper biryani: $12. The cash register was nice. There were delays due to confusion in order. Get free drinks as compensation. The food tasted differently from Indian restaurant, but could be further improved. The portion size was huge. Also try vegetarian samosa: good and seemed fresh. View all feedback.
What Franz Streich doesn't like about Ammi's Pakwan Indian Food:
This restaurant has been renamed to Mirch Masala. The location is the same but the food and management have changed significantly. We went at 1:00pm on Monday (08/15/22) for lunch. We ordered biryani and Tikka pieces. The Tikka pieces were dry and okay in taste. We got 5 pieces for 17$. The biryani was salty and only contained masala rice. They gave white rice on the side to add. I don't believe it is worth at all. View all feedback.
This restaurant is now under new management and has also updated its menu with some new dishes. Desi-Food's desire is real when you visit Seattle from Chicago and after so many Desi restaurants around university and downtown, I can certainly say that they get the best Biryani and chicken medicines in Seattle. Her paratha and chai are on top cherry. A must visit place if you are looking for authentic spicy Pakistani food.
This is RULES. I can't believe I lived on the hill for so long without coming here. The food is beautifully made and very fresh, and the service is very friendly. It is a family-run place and the mood there is simply wonderful. I highly recommend this place; it's a jewel.
The wiper is not frozen yet! Your own family is so friendly! Had a great Christmas dinner there.

Good food and customer service. A bit tight space for sitting. Kids high chairs are available. Washrooms were clean and well maintained. Tandoori Chicken was really tasty but rest of the food like kebabs and naans were good too. Only downside is non availability of dedicated parking so you have to find parking on the road which is paid parking except Sunday.
