Oh my god, all 5 star reviews here are right. I can not stress enough how much of an extraordinary experience eating in altura is! the.
Altura has become a “special occasion” place. The food is light, the wine/beverage pairs on, and the service fantastic. Chef Nathan Lockwood and team consistently create innovative foods. You get seasonal amazing truffles and Wagyu beef. Recommended to sit on the chefs to watch the show.
I must say the overall experience was about phenomenal! Staff, chefs, all were amazingly respectful and knowledgeable what they do and serve. The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, gentle, beautiful jams and the lighting is just right. We do not eat often cook menu and as avid foodie, I must say the food was BOMB! To be honest, I wasn't sure what we ate half the time, but it was one of the best food we ate. The waiters/witresses would tell us what was served and typical I, do not listen and just want to dip in. The entire experience from beginning to end was about three hours, as stated on their website. We sat at the table where we can see how the chefs make the amazing goodness in our eyes. You can talk to the chefs, ask questions and so on. They are respectful and knowledgeable in their craftsmanship. I can't say enough, the food and the overall experience was top notch. Reservations. Yes. Altura only accepts reservations, no walks (can be if you are lucky). Parking is disturbing, but there are some parking spaces in the area.
