Nice view from my window seat. Food was good. A little pricey. Maybe they were short handed? The waitress seemed a little flustered. She walked by a couple times and I finally got her attention for a coffee refill. She appeared a little exasperated and annoyed with me. She made me feel like I interrupted her. We would have stayed for another cup but again couldn't get her attention for a refill. View all feedback.
What Afterimage Films doesn't like about Alki Cafe:
I used to love eating here, but this last visit there were only two other people in the place other than ourselves. It took a while to get our order in and a very long wait for our food. I ordered a salmon and cream cheese omlette. The eggs of the omlette itself had no taste, there was not enough cream cheese, and the salmon was very dry. The staff was really friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! It was really tasty and a BIG portion for the Huevos Rancheros and the Chicken Steak. I will definitely come back
OMG, soo good. I had crab and avocado omelette, wife had crab Louie salad. Both had **** Marys.
What makes this place is the quality of service and staff , never really wait long. My mom had the Cobb salad and the portions were big..Some times the fry's are over cooked. They make great breakfast.
The food was delicious, and the portions were good. It was right on the main street and there was a lot of excitement to watch while we ate. That was fun! The prices were reasonable too, and even though the service was a little slow it was not bad overall. Server was very nice, would go back again next time I'm in town.
We were so happy to see this place open during the snow storm. The service was excellent, COVID precautions in practice and food was so amazing. Best smoked salmon omelette EVER!
