Subway - Seaside
Subway
Description
At this local Subway, experiences vary dramatically. While some patrons enjoy the clean environment and consistent food quality typical of the chain, others have encountered significant issues, such as order mistakes and overly generous vinegar application on sandwiches. Complaints also arise about unengaged staff, particularly in their interaction with customers. Despite the politeness of certain employees, some visitors noted an uncomfortable atmosphere, hinting at possible biases. Additionally, the push for tipping has sparked dissatisfaction, with customers feeling it should be included in meal pricing instead. Overall, this location remains a mixed bag of good intentions and execution.

This Subway is the worse I’m have been there not friendly I’m not recommending stop there for food please.
Went in to go get dinner and the lady working finished the customer in front of us and grabbed something to drink and went into the back. We waited 30 min while the line grew to the lady never coming back out. Definitely the worst experience ever probably will never go back.
Attention manager/owner: Please be aware of your employee who was working on 5/27/24 from 3 to 4 PM. To other customers paying with cash, make sure to keep your receipt. A footlong and a 6-inch sub should not cost $30. After checking my receipt, I noticed that the employee had added items we didn’t order, charged both sandwiches as footlongs, and applied a charge for double meat on both. I returned to the restaurant with my receipt, and he issued a refund from the tip jar.
I can always count on my favorite sandwich. One thing I would say that could be improved is gluten free breads.
Clean location, with food that tastes exactly like every other Subway's restaurant. People behind the counter were nice, and polite, and helpful. No reason not to go here if you like subways. My only criticism was the essentially mandatory tippingstarting at 15%. For making me a sandwich. Here's a thought: pay the workers what they deserve and then pass the cost ondirectly to us instead of trying to guilt shame me into paying for their wages in directly, in in the case of some customers noteven doing that.
