Out of town attending a conference in the Monterey area this weekend. Having been born and raised in German, I was looking forward to great authentic cuisine. Unfortunately, I missed the reservations only sign and was rudely met with the owner and told he couldn 't seat me in the nearly empty establishment. His loss, hope he gets all the business he needs tonight because I 'm not coming back. View all feedback.
I have lived here for 22 years and just discovered this restaurant, so good, hearty portions, the waitstaff were the owners, I have never felt so welcome in a restaurant. They explained the dishes to me, and the food spectacular.I will go again, and will tell all my friends and family

The owner is incredibly sweet, attentive, jovial, and always such a joy to interact with. The food is authentic and AMAZING! Coming here feels like being welcomed warmly into a German home, complete with the authentic cuisine.
Loved this neat little place. I wanted to experience real German food and I believe I got it here. The Jagerschnitzel was fantastic. So good. They also had a combo plate that comes with everything, although I shouldve ordered a different type of schnitzel as well. Was good tho. Owners are personable and nice. Had a pleasant experience.
